Don’t Wait for Too Late!
Strengths Connect
to Your Feelings
Pause for a moment and think about
the past 24 hours. Imagine you're a coach reviewing game tape with
your team. What moments stand out? Picture them. Part of building your
strengths is recognizing when they appear naturally. Here's a daily exercise to
help you notice your strengths: 1. Think
about the past day. 2. Identify
specific moments when you felt energized or excited. 3. Reflect
on what strengths you were using in those moments. Being mindful of your feelings helps
you identify your inherent talent. Emotions can signify that we are
either leaning into a strength or butting up against a weakness. Taking time
to reflect gives you a chance to build on what you naturally do best. |
